Walking on egg shells….

Tripping on cracks in the sidewalk ….

Breathing in imaginary toxics ….

Hallucinating  from not sleeping and laughing at stupid things….

Saying, “screw it all” ….

Ditching school ….

Dancing in the halls….

Thinking of your smile ….

On rainy day to bring me back up ……..

Disappearing and kissing in rundown abandoned buildings….

Ignoring the world ….

And never even trying to get anything we didn’t have….

We had it all ….

Studying for hours ….

Listening to people bitch ….

And laughing while holding our fingers ….

Over our mouths….

Laughing in class ….

And discarding our teacher words ….

We happily lived with our own ignorance….

Staying out all night ….

And returning in the morning….

Never getting caught ….

By the local authorities….

That’s what we did ….

And what we do ….

We never cared ….

We never played a fool ….

We put the pieces back to together ….

We fought the war ….

Through windy weather ….

We cried for hours ….

When we were hurt ….

We made each other better ….

laughter was our cure..

Everything was better than ….

And still hopefully ….

We’ll remain together like this ….

Like glue and paper ….

Stuck together ….

In this little sand box called earth….

We’ll never stray ….

We’ll never fight ….

We’ll hug each other good night….

It’s never going be goodbye…
