Some believe that trees are just firewood. Others believe that they are alive with souls and minds. I follow the belief that they are alive, that all of nature is alive watching us go about lives not noticing the true beauty that’s free and right under our noses. There’s this place near my house where there are trees with what appears to be EYES carved in the bar of the wood. I believe that these “eyes,” are the spirits of the indians that once dwelled in my area.
