Verse 1
I know there’s a plan in the making.
I know there’s got to be reason.
It’s something you are keeping.
You’re keeping it from me.

I know there is no malice.
I know there is no hate.
I know I may be misguided sometimes.
But I always make it right.

I want to find your reason.
Your reason for loving me.
I know now there is much to be learned
and a lot I need to embrace.
We are your people; we the human race.

I know there’s brilliance behind the madness
underneath the ball of confusion that is me.
There will be answers to come.
There will be absolution.
Until then, I am just living here
trying to make it the best I can.

I know now that I have come to the halfway mark.
Acceptance will come to me soon.
My heart is a lonely place.
But still I carry on because of your grander plan.

for what I am going through.
The lessons will be learned
