Feel this one day at a time
I was never taught to embrace my southpaw

This is not what you think
There’s no singular point
Not one truth

Trying to take this one day
at a time
Trying to remember why

Silver lining,
traces of the purest gray
circle around, touching on my blue skies

I’m left
laughing myself pale
leaving no marks
no footholds to lead them to concede the worst

There’s no resolution
peering through a blurry lens

Rose colored or blue
makes no difference
Either way,
your vision is skewed

My silver lining,
tracing fingertips along dusty book spines

My silver lining,
leaving no traces of myself, my art
behind

I’m all here

Grateful for my all inclusive retreat
