Words jab you like the sharp edge of a paper,
when I see red,
you’re afraid you’ll be next.
I promised to try
and broke that promise more than one hundred times.
I have tried,
succeeded and failed alike.
I left you with crying eyes
and wanted to die
with every falling tear.
I try and try and try
until the walls are eating me alive.
I’m paralyzed, stuck in my mind.
Time is laughing
while hours are passing.
I will still try
until the day that I die.
