Snow is sailing in the breeze
while I’m waiting to start therapy.
I’m learning little by little
that there’s a risk in
everything

Life befriends the unexpected,
like snow in April;
things don’t stay the same

They were here with me.
Now, they’re
gone

I’m left to learn
alone, again
New faces shining in my eyes,
brown and blue.
They’re not you
but they are still like me.

Everyday, I’m learning
little by little
That there is change
with everything
I’m risking my pride.
My ego dying on the other side.

Everything around me is changing,
But, so am I.

Change is always hard. But change can be good and it’s inevitable. Nothing stays the same forever. Baby steps are a great place to start.

Yes absolutely . Baby steps are the best way to start. Thank you so much, Linda. your friendship means so much to me . How’s your week going ? Mine is going well, although haha I’m getting my wisdom teeth out in May! I’m scared but I think it’s smarter to do it now, rather than later 👍

Best of luck getting your wisdom teeth removed? Are they impacted? Or starting to poke through? Or is the surgery just preventative? I got mine removed in my early twenties. I don’t remember it being painful. But the recovery wasn’t fun for the next few days. Hope all goes well.

We’re currently in New Zealand on holidays. We arrived at the end of March and return home early May. It’ll be tough to leave. It’s so nice here, the people, the weather and the scenery.

Oh enjoy new Zealand ! I heard it’s gorgeous 😍 o hope you guys have a great time and see new things . Yes, it’s my wisdom teeth. They’re impacted and poking through . They just dont want to risk it getting rough with them pressing on the other teeth. I guess it could damage them . I know it’s for the best but I hope the healing isn’t too rough lol 🤣😆

Ah, sounds like it’s good to get them removed then. I got mine done as a preventative measure. I was also still covered under my mom’s benefits so figured why not. And thanks! The scenery in New Zealand is definitely very gorgeous!
