Unbridled anger, navigating through
the dismembered hoops,
anonymous in my giving.
Granting healing,
then returning it to the dealer.

are stark as I stumble.
I’m humbled,
standing on three legs.

crashing down,
like waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Unbridled joy,
steering this sinking pool,
piling bricks,
stacking my aspirations
until I’m ready to make them a reality
