Swinging on this crackling live wire, watching as above me it sparks, loudly and bright.
All else is under me, while I’m under this wire.
Tiny homes, tiny people with their big ideas all gripping their own live wire.
We all have questions.
Is there more than death? I choose to believe so but what of the others ?
I trust in God but I still wish you didn’t have to go.
Right now is the in between, the moments that don’t balance well with hardship, with emotions.
Right now is the time when emotions don’t weather well when I’m still. There’s not much to be done, keep busy.
I’ll write like I’ll never lift a pen again, as if I’m in your place, passing with you, grappling for every last breath.
