I salvage the echo of the water, keeping quiet, my breaths silent. The sun is bold in the sky today, bragging on about the promise of warmth to venture.
Remaining snow crunching under my feet, I implore the sun to melt what’s left of you. You’re beautiful but your time is spent. Your frost hitting my cheeks or dusting my walkways are no longer appealing.
The lush green hue of spring is haunting me splendidly, revealing himself in the moss, tender green grass, and the strong scented pine branches.
I’m imagining a hot day and cooling myself in this waterfall, just past this long fence and taking in all this green.
I know summer will come but first will be Spring.

I cannot wait .
