Sweating and swearing, wobbling down the path. We defied our odds that day. That year.
The leaking faucet kept pouring, dog kept whining, cat kept scratching, and we kept pushing.
The time was drawing near. Commitments chasing our procrastination, and blind ambitions slapping us into readiness.
The memory was picture perfect.
We struggled and laughed at our sweating, laughed past hoarded tears. We laughed as we struggled knowing we were getting somewhere.

I wrote this about when a friend abd i hiked to the top of a mountain 🙂 I go himing a lot but usually not always with so much of an incline as thay one lol so it was a challenge. When we reached the top we both cried abd discussed some of our fears and wrote them on rocks before tossing the rocks over the edge. It was incredibly freeing. 🙂
