He sang out into the open sky.

The clouds grew puffy like crying eyes; birds stopped chirping and it began to rain.

He sang with an open heart,
letting his lament ring through the notes he sang.
High and low his voice rose, letting tears let loose down his ruddy, stubby chin.

The sun wept along with him and tried to comfort him with her warming rays.

He felt the heat but could not stop his sad song.

Note* I have not gotten creative with photos I’ve taken in a long time. I’ve been finding interesting ways to take photos through random shots being taken and messing around. I forgot over time how much I missed the editing process I would sometimes do. I like to play around with blending photos. Sometimes the blends work out really well. I forgot how much I missed this. 🙂 I hope you enjoy the blends. I used pixlr to make this one. Happy blogging everyone and thank you for your support last year and this year. 🙂

    Beautiful poignant, deeply evocative…
like a sad song reaching between worlds…

and the photo blend works really well with it.

There really is. I used to walk past this chain linked fence all of the time and felt that I could use a picture of that! 🙂 Thank you so much for commenting and your kind words . I really appreciate them! I feel like there’s been so many people I know reaching their breaking points. This poem I felt could relate with people. My brother was the original idea behind this poem . 🙂
