Reveling and revealing more and more. I’m caught somewhere between growing wise and regressing to a younger mind frame.
I’m in between, stuck in between.
I don’t mind.
Yes I do.
Sometimes I don’t know what to think, how to act.
I’m stuck one way or another, growing wiser but less afraid. Is it a good or bad happening, only time could tell.
Time is trying to move me forward.
My gut feeling tend to be to go with it.
Other people can shift the ground so much…
but at the end of the day, you’re trying to be you, not them.
And sometimes people say that as though, somehow, being true to yourself says everything that needs to be said.
But even there, it gets messy sometimes…
and I’m not sure who this “self”is that I’m trying to be true to…
and I hear a bunch of voices telling me to be true to myself by quoting all manner of “being true to yourself” mottoes…
and I think, what’s true about that?
Mostly, I go with what grabs hold of me and says: “I’m still here… let’s go nuts and just be ‘us’… and see where it takes us”… like a thing holding you in the rain.
