Bittersweet

Peace of mind,
I’ll share a slice.
It won’t make sense.
I woke up like this.

Thinking of you again and again.

I’ll give you a slice of bittersweet,
Bitter or sweet,
Red wine,
Something?…

You couldn’t tell, but something serious is playing on my mind.

I’m losing control, laughing and crying, too, thinking of you again and again.
I’m too close to this edge.
I’m kept tucked in place as precariously as a misplaced library book.

I’m wandering, left wondering about you again and again.

There’s nothing else to do.

  Thank you !!! Your dad gave great advice . I definitely am enjoying them for the most part. We’ve been getting extreme heatwaves though so that’s been rough but other than that all is well 🙂 How are you?

    You are welcome dear Brittney. The lakes are clean because the factories stopped polluting allowing the grandchildren to enjoy the water. Hot days in Michigan too.

    I could imagine. That’s great to hear that the lakes are cleaned up and not being polluted. When the earth is polluted with trash it’s heartbreaking. Nature is so beautiful. I can’t stand litter.
