Frivolously frolic
Filtered fields
Fiery flames flinging fancy fans
between framed veins, weddings and fame.

There’s a full moon.
He has his fill, drinking in
the fallen Sun’s fraying rays.

Flying by.
Time is flying by.
Feathers are falling free of flapping wings flying westward to no place fair.

Fingering our way, flicking away flicks and flecks of fearless, flighty fighters and outstretched hands.

Finger and feel our way through it all, past the thorns and past the frying brain cells.
Feel and see what’s on the other side, before night fades to day and we’re fleeing the scene again.

    I haven’t packed sandwiches.

    The abyss,
    the existential shitstorm –
    it’s right here,
    pulling at me
through the noise of a vacuum cleaner drifting through the wall…
    a low whine of
    stuff being tidied away…

    people chatting outside,
and me not able to talk anymore.

    The light is fading
and my favourite time of day
is losing the all hope it once held.

    The abyss is calling
    and I haven’t packed sandwiches
    for the big fall.

It’s the only stupid thought I have left –
    the rest have dropped already.

      Beautiful John ! 🙂
      Shift and fade.
      Time is neutral.
We are stubborn, challenging the greater forces always.
The wind blows, the tide sharpens it’s angle, washing away a small town.
Still people line up to remember it.
Almost like us, holding onto fallacies and memories that we wonder upon while time continues on moving.

Oh this tickled my love of alliteration something fierce. Fatalistic, fragile and flowing. Fantastic. 🙂

Thank you 🙂 I’m beginning to become a huge fan of using alliteration myself these days:) I enjoy the way they sound when put together. It’s great. Thank you so much Tom! How’s your week?

No worries! It’s been a good week, I’m working from home a lot these days so I’m really grooving on not dealing with peak hour traffic at the moment. 🙂
