Dissonance.

We’re all finding and embracing this eccentric meaning.

We’re falling into our own pace.

    This is exactly the thing…

    kinda…

    the thing that makes it ok to be me,
    and give my me-ness a way through.

    But so many things
    pulling it it out of itself,
    pulling me out of me
    and leaving a scary, chilly hole in my place.

    I used to be
    the mattering of something –

    the thing that matters
    when nothing seems to say so…

    the thing that matters with its own meaning.
