Round body,
bumping your shadow.
The slightest breeze
taking you for a ride
Zigzagging and zipping about,
this yard is all yours and mine alike.

I’m welcoming your visage, your presence.
Flutter and buzz,
humming up to the stratosphere.

I won’t run.
Your soft, fuzzy cuddles
are so precious to me.

I see your outline,
your shadow playing on my wall.
You’re so coy,
Come cuddle, snuggle into my dress.
Unafraid and unbridled.

Fuzzy, love bug,
Don’t fear.
I’m a gentle giant next to your tiny stature.

Little bee, buzz and flitter by me.

I’m such a fan of those fuzzy fat bumble bees. This poem reminds me of summer. Nicely done.
