Dear friend across the seas,
We’re searching aimlessly,
For THE moment when it’ll click,
the sonic boom
bringing the light source more
fulfillment, more love
Sipping in the sweet scents,
I’m surrounded by honey bees
Busy bodies are binding honey in comb.
You and I both hold
a will to be
apart from what is typical, routine,
a separate world
sailing apart from
all we’re too accustomed to.
Bounding upwards,
ducking between concrete walls,
finding the key, unlocking
unspoken mysteries
of dancing with trees
