There’s thick air,
we’re sweltering and shuffling
up and down big and little mounds.
Thick air doesn’t choke us.
The hot sun doesn’t burn us.
We’re in our element.
We’re free in our festivities.
It’s been a long time coming.
We haven’t felt this loose
in a New York minute.
Fog is lulling across blue mountainscapes.
Lying lazily, idly gazing down
upon the freeways.
We’re under his blanket,
bracing for the bright light’s appearance.
Thick air continues to engulf this tiny space.
We’re comfortable in our cool bubble,
continuing forward.
Taking it slow,
we’re miles beyond being laborious.

Yes!! That’s exactly it π. I do not like to rush when it’s hot. I like to take my time and take breaks and enjoy it, in the shade haha π€£ but still enjoy it π thank you !! I did write this while we were in Pittsburgh. I felt inspired by our trip. I’m going to be posting about some of the places we went to soon π
