I come alive in the fall,
when the Earth’s secrets fall from tree branches
Raining down in listless waves
partnering with the leaves
I become alive in the fall,
when the zephyrs are cool
and teaming with enigma and grace
The sun is even more friendly,
shining gently,
smiling upon my head,
finally relieved of his duty.
He’s happily less likely to burn my porcelain skin
I’m welcome at last
to enter outside of sunlit staircases
and shadowy trees
My summer birthday can no
longer making a mockery of me
I come alive when it’s fall.
I shelter my soul in the brightly colored leaves
and find my solitude,
my little slice of space that I can breathe
In the autumn,
I’m free to come alive
and let my wild child loose
under the harvest moon’s moonlight.

Thank you, VJ!! Autumn is my favorite season. There is just something about it that brings me peace and relaxation ☺️ I love autumn so much 💓. Plus, this summer was a scorcher. I am not a fan of super hot weather. Thanks for stopping by and commenting so kindly. I hope you’re having a good Monday 😊

It’s understandable. Winter is tough. I have fibromyalgia. Winter causes it to act up in what’s ways, especially in my feet. 😫🤷. I don’t get it. I am not at all ready for winter but fall I love 😘. I feel my best because I’m not too hot or too cold and I ache less during fall and spring. I think summer and winter are tough for us because of the air quality, in terms of pressure and such. I don’t know if that plays a part but I think at least for me it does. I hope you can enjoy Autumn. Just think of all the beautiful colors and scenery around you. Winter can be drab. It does have it’s perks though, especially if you like scenic photography 😉 . I hope you’re have a good week VJ. I enjoyed your comment and conversation. Thank you !!
