Ice falls from the sky
fluffy and flouncing his crystalline smile.
His dressings of white
make a sweet lullaby
sound phony.
His chilling allure
sets up a scene so demure,
we come pining.
I’ve only seen him a few times before.
The sightings are often
in dreams and nevermore.
Today Jack Frost is scheming
with him.
I can see them
plotting cloudline, again.
I didn’t think I’d see them coming
so soon.
Every morning,
the dew is crisp and warning
us of what’s above,
covering a shining sun
and darkening.
clouds fill in,
drowning the mute blue sky’s crys.
Clouds jigsaw and shimmy around,
silencing mountains and moonbeams
abounding low ground.
Ice is calling
to the Winter Queen’s north winds
to sweep him
down upon scenic overlooks and steady streams, again.
He’s eager
and dressing to attune to a finer delight.
Galloping along solstice winds, gaging his magnificent plight.
Plummeting down
over hills, over stone.
He’s collecting on rooftops,
tree branches, and all the bare bones.
They’re calling,
yearning to be well-known
like him, his majesty,
The prince of ice and snow

Thank you, Linda 💗 I can’t believe Christmas is so close, now!! We are almost there ☺️. We have our lights up and pretty much finished all of our Christmas shopping and wrapping. We started early this year and wrapped as packages arrived haha 😂. I hope you’re having a good holiday season. I’m going to take a trip to your page and enjoy some traveling 🙂😃. I’m sure we’ll speak to each other before Christmas on here but if not, Merry Christmas ⛄🎄
