Blink that stardust
out of your eyes.
Wake up, dreamer and
swallow the sunrise.
It’s not a manhunt;
don’t choose to hide away.
Dodge all the punches, knowing
they’ll be gone as soon as they
pass your way.
Dream with the evening sky,
sewing hearts with stars
you knew when you weren’t
as far away.
Ease your mind,
in knowing we’re on our way.
Possibly is hope
becoming promise
when you choose to pave your way.
Slow dance with the wispy willow
Beckon the snow
down from the clouds.
Form snow angels
where you lay.
If we’re all stardust
underneath,
why don’t we shine?
Why can’t we share our light?
If we’re all some part
of God’s desired dream,
why can’t we believe?
Why don’t we have the rights to dream?
Comets soar down
from outer space
leaving strange footprints
apart from where they stay
It’s wrong to keep ourselves
on lockdown,
on solid ground,
terrified by the bodies that fly.
If we’re all stardust,
God’s grand design,
why don’t we shine?

Yes! That’s one hundred thousand percent true !! We don’t need to be noticed by all but just to exist and shine in a life that needs us. ❤️💜💜❤️❤️ Something I’m striving to do. No one should feel alone or worthless

Yes!!!! Thank you 😊🙏 I believe that, too. Everyone has something to offer. There is a point, reason for everyone. Believing that has gotten me through rough times. I am grateful to be at an age where I could finally appreciate my talents without feeling as awkward as I did in my twenties. Growing and healing into yourself had been a great experience and I hope to keep growing and healing and helping others. Your writing and photos always inspire me to keep growing as a writer as well. I hope you’re staying warm and dry 💜❤️

For sure. It’s funny how we gain so much more perspective as we get older. That is a lovely goal in life to always learn and want to grow. I can tell you use your poetry as a way to channel that. Thank you! We’ve been getting some sun, too!!! It’s been making me so happy ☺️😁. Matt and I are finally out of quarantine so we have been walking ourselves. It’s been nice getting out. I love spring. I’m so happy it’s almost here. I’m glad you’ve been getting out to enjoy it 😊😄
