Another Monday

Just another Monday,
throwing on my housecoat
and bracing for today

Holding onto a moment
that hasnt come soon enough
Impatience, you’ve struck a deal
with unstoppable forces
this time

Just another thirty something degrees,
I’m waking up in a cautious state of uneasy.

It’s just another Monday.

I’m in a Monday like that… and the unease has intensified during the day. Feels like it’s all there is of me right now.

Few enough people to turn to who I know will appreciate why. But I know you do.

Ah Mondays. The toughest day of the week. Maybe that’s why most of our holidays in Canada fall on a Monday.
