Learn

Maybe it was me
but in the way I once thought

Blue eyes meet green,
a scene is set
Still, nothing equals nothing,
when it’s over

I’m one of the fortunate survivors.
I’m the part of a breeding mindset,
growing more and more able

Masking has replaced
genuine connection
What’s left in her place?

Would anyone care to know?

I used to conceive
so strongly in justice, honesty.

Planet earth is ran by
creatures with whom
have a lifetime more to learn.

One of your darker pieces, but it reflects my own mood often enough, I can say that.

I’m getting a bit back to blogging and writing and I wanted if it was okay to quote a verse from one of your other poems in a new story? (“Shoeless and Soulful”)

It was just an idea I got after reading that I had to get out.

    I completely understand. I have been trying so hard to get on here a lot more. It really does me so much good. It is tough balancing family, work and blog time . It’s tough but we’re doing it ! Take your time and take care 🙂
