Is this what you’re expecting ?
Opening your eyes
to find oceanside blue skies.

Once more,
you’re together and falling apart
against the shore

I’m here, too

Wading along
the edges of the shore,
settling among sunken sandcastles and
sea foam, so serene.

Seagulls soar above our heads,
even while
we haven’t a crumb to spare

We’re sharing thoughts
and spending time
we didn’t think we had

We found a sublime space,
someplace mingling
with uncomfortable, in between.

You’re one in a million
even when
damp with tears

We can cry the ocean back to life
You and I

But your time
with me
is enough

We could write
stories into truth
Me and you

What a beautiful piece. I know we’ve talked about this before, but there’s always something to soothing and magical about being by the water, especially the ocean.

There is. I think it’s a combination of the streaming water noises, along with the peaceful feeling and sights usually around water. I love seeing ducks and geese and other water birds . They’re so majestic . Water is healing 😊😊
