Together, we’re on it.
We become that sparkle in
anothers’s eye,
savored like warm autumn sunlight.
Colors are blooming,
on our canvasses,
set aside,
splashing along our stolen sky.
You were promised the moon,
then, set aside,
one last time.
We’ve defied odds,
healed over licked open wounds,
and challenged our demons,
physical and mental.
Healing isn’t all there is left.
We’re so much more than
a bag of skin and bones.
We feel it on our eyes,
our art,
our connections,
our love.
We adorn our love,
the same way the emperor did,
unabashedly naked and unafraid.
We’re bleeding hearts,
inviting the world to share
in our healing.

And this… right here ..is one of the reasons this was written, for souls like yours and others that reach out and reach the furthest places to find me and others, too. Thank you !!!

Latent hearts in a single conjugated verb where to coincide is to find yourself in the same communion because in the end there will always be someone with whom you can feel and experience your fears and insecurities, as well as your achievements and joys. Beautiful poem. I loved it. Congratulations, poet. 🤗🤗
