When I look to the sky
and Jupiter is glowing bright,
your eyes come to mind.
You’ve owl eyes,
ancient and spilling with wisdom,
rolling down from tired,
withering rain clouds.
Space is where you’d be,
had you the choice.
Perhaps, on Jupiter,
challenging the storm,
turning docile the great red eye.
If anyone could calm a spirit,
Maureen, it’s you.
You’re the aunt God sent to me,
the wife God sent to my uncle.
We both miss him, but we have each other,
and the beautiful memories to last.

So many great red stormy eyes are praying out there right now for visitors who could turn their rotations docile.
Not by bleaching away their colours into dead white walls in dead white soulless rooms, the way this world does, but by visiting the star shoes of distant walls, and dancing with them on Saturn’s ice-weave rings.

Thank you so much . I try to be. Sometimes, I feel that I am too careless with my time getting caught up in work and adulting. I’m trying to be cognizant of loved ones and spending time with them and being present . I tend to live in my head at times lol π π I hope you enjoyed your Christmas and new years eve !! Ours was nice. We got to spend a lot of time with loved ones and it meant a lot.

Thereβs nothing wrong with being in your head sometimes! I like to think of that as being mindful and meaningful! Glad to hear you had a lovely Christmas. We spent time with family as well. Thankfully most of them live nearby so we didnβt have to travel far. The holidays always go by way too quickly though.

Thank you! You have a great perspective on that! It does help with being mindful for sure . Thanks for that perspective. We are fortunate to have family that live close as well. Some of my family live in Tennessee but they come up in the summer, so, at least we’ll get to see them when the weather is nicer. They do go by too quickly. Monday, I am back to work, again. I miss my kiddos but am anxious, too. Going back after a long break is always anxiety provoking for me lol π π π

Itβs funny that you mention that because I just returned to work last Monday after being off work for just over a year from maternity leave. So I totally can relate to the anxiety!! Itβll take some time to get into a new routine and rhythm (and from being away from my baby for so long). Thankfully I can work from home 2-3 days a week.

That’s great that they’re accommodating that for you. That’s how it should be so you can spend time with you baby. I think maternity leave should be at least a year so moms could get used to the baby schedule and help them get into a rhythm without having to balance work and the baby but unfortunately that’s not how it works m I am looking for an at home job as Matt and I want to start planning for a baby
