Glancing out of my dash window,
I spot you as I’m driving by.
Theres no time to stop,
not a moment to spare,
if only I could catch your eye.
It would be unthinkable,
that you would be looking for me, too
I can’t imagine you
ever having a doubt,
or thinking about me as I do you.
I’m not offended.
I’m not hurt.
This is just how life goes.
We meet complete strangers and form bonds.
I couldn’t be more grateful.
I didn’t picture myself as someone,
willing to welcome
when all my time is consumed,
and well spent.
You’re a star and a comfort,
still guiding me along.
Like a supernova in space,
you’ve left your mark.
Still friends,
even when we don’t talk everyday.
Our story is etched throughout notebooks
and countless doodles

It is incredible and it reminds me of us and John (woodsy) as well as my other nonwriter friends . I will never underestimate the value of true friends. Thank you . How’s your week ? How’s baby M?

I don’t know about you, but I find the older I get, the harder it is to make new friends. All the more reason to cherish the friendships I currently have.
We had a massive snowstorm overnight and another one is expected over the weekend. I have no idea where we’re going to put all this snow when shovelling! Baby M is doing well. She’s always on the move and has started walking. We have a little sled for her that we’re hoping to test out this weekend, which should be fun with all this snow. How are you doing?

Aw baby M will probably love that !!, ,aw she’s walking already ? That’s so cool !!, time flies.
I am the same way. Making new friends is difficult. For me, I think I’m more about experiences now. I want to spend my time with those that bring the best out of every experience and remind me to do so.
