My reality is a combination of messy
and imaginably resplendent.
I wish I could physically show you,
all the fragments of me.
The luminous sunlight is shimmering through my window one day.
The next, it’s all too bright,
too hot and burning.

Time is passing on
and I’m learning how to cope,
even when I’m low,
like now.
I may not know everything
but I’m learning.

I’m appreciative of the scorching sun,
as well as the shimmering one, too.
I find solace in every cloud of gray,
every welcomed hug, every touch of love.
Don’t promise me irrevocable existence,
just stay.
Stay, now.

    “…just stay.

    Stay now.”

That’s very poignant… and very you.

When you take pictures of rainbows hopping on trampoline clouds, and small fluffy cloud scamps imitating bridges…

they look back, because it’s you.

What a dazzling piece. There’s a fine line between shimmer and scorching and it’s balance many of us are still trying to find. I haven’t heard the term resplendent before and had to look up its meaning. I like it!

Thanks ! I am trying to expand my vocabulary to know more words but also challenge my memory and writing ability. I get bored using the same words haha and when I repeat words it ticks me off for some reason. Thank you so much for your comment. I love how much thought you put into them .

There is definitely a fine line. I’m working on finding the balance between things I love and breaks . It’s tricky but I’m getting there .

I hope the snow isn’t too much of a hassle for you guys . We got some snow, too the other week. It was pretty to watch

The snow definitely looks pretty. We got another massive snowstorm over the weekend. Thankfully our neighbour has a snowblower and helped clear our driveway. The snow banks are taller than me in a few places. It’s crazy how much snow we got.

Wow ! You did get a lot of snow . We didnt get that much. I remember when I was three getting three feet of snow . That was so fun. When you’re little, everything is fun. I used to love sliding down the roof of this house thing at a playground and landing in the snow. I was about nine when I did that. Lol πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ i do miss good snow storm . I’m also ready for spring, though. Our groundhog predicted 6 more weeks of winter, however lol

That’s very true. It’s funny how our perception of fun changes as we get older. I still enjoy a good snowstorm though! It’s looking like winter will be lingering longer than usual considering how much snow we have! It sure looks pretty though.

It does look pretty. I like when I don’t have to leave the house and I could just sit and watch it . We got a window bench now so I’m ecstatic lol . But not so much when I have to leave the house lol 🀣🀣
