A Quiet Moment

I’m inside while,
snow is falling outside my window.
Millions of snowflakes are falling,
temporarily tattooing our sidewalks and streets.

Pausing from the daily bussing,
I’m at ease for a change,
Taking in the placid sight,
praying this tranquility could last.
