Walking down the sidewalk,
I’m in a maze.
It’s a vacuum,
releasing the fog
My bones
are lightweight as air.
My body giving away
to a certain promised pain.

A distraction

Trees are sprouting multicolored
fresh buds opening,
leaves breathing,
all that I expel.

Blossoms bloom,
gracing my senses
with their perfume
and deep shades of color from
Violet, pink to white.

Walking down the sidewalk,
I’m lifting to the clouds,
airy and liberated,
my body giving way,
and casting away
a promised pain

We get so used to these promised pains. Sometimes the voices around us forget to promise something else… or they don’t have the words to say how. Sometimes I see tanks rolling down the street, and I have just a fistful of pollen with which to respond.

Sometimes knowing you can still throw is everything.

Isn’t it incredible how the landscape transforms in the spring? I am loving how lush and colourful everything looks. Lovely poem and captures. Those pink flowers are gorgeous.

Thank you !!! These are from a park a few miles away from me. They’re called Cherry Blossoms. I absolutely love them ! I do wish they had a longer stay on the trees but while they’re here, I’ve been trying to walk where they are and just enjoy them. It was funny the other day. I came across a bundle of roses tossed in the little pond there, too. I snapped a few photos of those. I hope it was just an accident or they were just for a photography session. Many people use that area for wedding photos and such. I might try to use one of those photos for a blog coming up 🙂 😁😁

I know. It’s a shame that many spring blossoms don’t tend to last very long. But hey, after a cold and long winter, I’ll take a burst of colour, even if it’s for a short stretch. Ooo, the roses in the pond would have such a poetic vibe.

Right ?! I agree . It’s definitely better to see color and try brilliant shades of green 💚💚💚 . I need to make a post with those roses soon 🙂
