Morning coffee fills my senses.
The soft carpet greets my itchy feet.
Mosquitos at the drive inn,
had a feast.
Surely, they think I’m good to eat.
They won’t stop me, though.
I’m on a mission!
Remembered mostly everything
but forgot the Dramamine.
You cooked us eggs,
an omelette for you,
and dippy eggs with cheese for me.
Outside is oven,
a hell fire being 96 degrees.
That won’t stop us.
We have ice in the cooler,
and wawa hoagies for lunch.
God, I love you.
You, your spontaneity.
Monday comes along and you’re telling me
“Let’s go to Knoebels, Tuesday.
All I could do is to respond,
“I’m in.”

Thank you !!!I hear ya ! They love me, too. My legs are covered in bites !! This is a real story as we actually went to theme park as I was writing this. It was a great trip, even with it being so hot
