They’re free of the abysmal,
abundance of agitation.
It’s losing its hold,
slipping elsewhere.
The curtain has lifted.
We’re bowing each and every day.

Starting in our own sun,
the room is silenced,
and all eyes encompass my frame.
Here, I’m set free.
A little bit of attention is all I need.
The limelight,
the pranking,
the quips,
stealing my mind
to a better place.
Faces smile.
They’re glinting along with mine,
as mischievous misadventures
await us in the wings.
And we’re free.
The curtain has lifted, leaving us
bowing each and every day.
I’ve never known it wholly,
a little bit of attention,
of silly,
could’ve been all we needed.
