Can’t stop pacing,
no reason to be found.
Creating a painting
while shivering someplace between calm
and quivering.

At risk of sounding the same,
I’m challenging myself more.
Well free verse,
here we go.

Anxiety,
unspoken,
but here,
pacing in the break room

open minded,
ready for a crisis
but great for a moment of excitement.

    If nothing happens, I wait.
    If everything does,
I become the shape it needs—
    hands out, heart open,
steady enough to call it joy.

      To call it joy,
      to be steady,
      to stop the evitable.
      We’re here,
      facing the unknown,
      coddling the future
      as it shimmers and shines

Absolutely. I’m always seeking new experiences at this point. I used to be really afraid to try new things but now I love to. Thank you, Linda ! How was your Christmas and New Year ?

Our holidays were nice. We spent a lot of time with family and eating (probably too much) delicious food. I put away most of my Christmas decorations earlier in the week, but left a few of my favourites up. How was your Christmas?

Aw I’m glad you enjoyed yourselves. We spent a lot of time with family, too. The food was dangerous for me as well haha 🤣🤣. I took down my decorations as well. I have all the Valentine’s Day hearts and things up now. I don’t care about the holiday. I just love the hearts 💕☺️

Glad to hear! I don’t have any Valentine’s Day decorations, but I’m thinking I should fix that!

Love it! I’d love to make a heart wreath or something. Or some sort of heart felt garland.

Will do! It would be neat to make a wreath for a few holidays and special occasions.
