Fuzzy and a soft gray,
his fur stands out amid the brown tree.
His beady eyes search for his friend,
paying me no mind as I walk past.
He’s hugging the tree,
hiding from another furry friend.
His tail is thin,
opposite of his counterpart friend.
Could he be playing hiding and seek?
It appears to be so.
