Swimming to the bottom,
looking up towards the sun,
undulating and shimmering.

Swimming deeper and deeper,
still staring intothat mischievous sun.
I won’t drown and I won’t waver.

The water is cool,
the deeper I delve into it.
I’m remembering to try again and again.
And it all makes sense
to come up for air right before all fades.

The water envelopes my throat,
my waist, my heart.
I’m choosing to sink and rise.
I lose my train of thought and I’m reborn

I don’t even know what it all is for
but I’m trying to comprehend
all that lies ahead.

Swimming deeper and deeper,
while still staring into that mischievous sun.
Don’t leave my sight,
no matter how deep I go.
