Following a daydream,
turning every which way,
lost in this maze.
The cornfields grow and shrink
with every step
while I make subtle changes
but mostly staying the same
Weaving and winding,
this course is vast and hollow.
It’s like it’s succumbed
to the sun, fading it’s colors,
falling into it’s shadow,
turning into a vacuum
to all that’s standing by
There are thin lines,
taut wires
that split my daydreams in two.
My daydreams so sweet,
so surreal
and I’m awake in that cornfield,
with cropcircles as my only company
