Recognizing the familiar once again.

After the rain, there was new life.

My spirit was lifted up.

A chickadee sang beside me on a neighboring branch.

He sang your song and I alone could recognize it,

walking along in the wood.

This is also a post I’ve already posted back in 2019. I’m reposting because I’ve been thinking about my grandpa and pet cat ( both in heaven). I keep having the same dream involving them for months now. It’s a beautiful connection we must still have for me to wake up feeling they’re still here. These two passing hit me hardest out of all the death I’ve experienced. They were vibrant and lively beings that always made everyone feel happy and comforted right when you needed it. I wear this necklace practically every day.

The WB stands for William Barber -my grandfather’s name. My name is Brittny Woss. We both had a chuckle talking about the WB thing when he gave me this ring.

I just wanted to share this bit of info. This necklace I firmly believe gives me comfort, having a part of him always with me.

Every time I see a golf ball, or a bird lands close to me and sings, I know it’s him.
