Your soul is a mossy, foresty, may green
Your eyes balance arresting ties to the
dewey seas.

You’re a hero
to the herons,
cleaning waters and shaping lands,
in entirety,
all by hand

Your soul is may green
like the wick of a branch
that promises spring

You’re hope,
embodied and anxious to start
You share your art
and delight the soggy sighing skies
with all that their tears
left behind

You’re a master
with a humble disguise
You mark your place,
leaving no mess,
just what you created

What a gorgeous poem. Reminds me of John O’Donohue, if you know him? I need to read more … !

Ah, time … I may have some tonight when my special kid is asleep, if I am not too busted by then. Thanks for your lovely comments over at Depending on the Morning Sun – I will get back to them very soon-ish, too. And more poetry here 🙂

Right?? Time is the trickiest of living concepts to master, although I 8 don’t think it’s possible unless we were time. It’s a real pain.

I’m back – at least for a short breath or two!

I had a feeling I should recommend you “Anam Cara” by said John O’Donohue. It is one of the most beautiful books I know. But he has also written many other good ones, including “To Bless The Space Between Us” which is the one I was reminded of in particular.

Thank you !!! I will definitely check them out. To Bless the Space Between Us sounds very full of life and passion in the title alone. I’m excited to check it out
